ABOUT 'GET DOWN MAKE LOVE': "This production started from an immense love for poetry and Gainesville's often weird, unique, but certainly underrated poets.
We hear rappers boast their love for the rap game and it's time poets start doing the same. There is no reason we shouldn't feature and promote our own. We know this town has some of the best and we want to give them the credit they deserve.
Open mic is on the second Sunday of every month and the featured show is the last Sunday of every month."
