Dear Friends,
you are cordially invited to the Burning of my Ted Cruz Painting (featured recently in The Huffington Post, The Alligator, Gawker, Info Wars, and some weird YouTube news show called The Richard Fowler Show.)
As you know, since painting the image, my career as a painter went in the tank. Nobody would buy the Ted Cruz's Lips painting for any amount, and all my work became suddenly noncommercial and stopped selling, which is when the lips started communicating to me, telling me, "I'm going to win. I'm going to win it all--world domination."
And then a week later, that's when the strange white apparition appeared on Ted Cruz's lips during the Republican Debate. Research at The Drudge Report (where we are told demonic possession is on the rise in America) confirmed that sometimes, physical objects of white-power balls can manifest within a possessed body and exit through the mouth or other orifices. When this happened to Mr. Cruz, I realized I had actually made this happen unintentionally by staring at a photograph of Ted Cruz's mouth for two hours and then painting this experience on the canvass. I had opened a doorway into another reality where politics is merged with reality television and evil slips in through the crack of our two worlds into this one, causing fish kills, poison water, government negligence, Martin Shkreli, and gross incompetence among members of congress.
I had to do something, and after more research on the Drudge Report, I realized that the only thing to do was to conduct a ritual with powerful local religious senior clergy of the Tabernacle of Hedonism and purify the painting by casting it into a giant bonfire. Makes total sense, and then I could revive my career, save the Earth, and remove the demon that causes the edges of Ted Cruz's mouth to point downward when he smiles.
Therefore, TONIGHT - 4/20/2016 Wednesday, we will exorcise the demon, destroy the painting, and make everything right. Besides, it was only a matter of days before I had raised as much money to burn the painting as I would have made selling it. We will be making a movie of the event which will be released in the next few weeks, but tonight, we burn my painting of Ted Cruz's Mouth. I hope you'll join us.
