Like all the evil of the world
Is happening all at once
And in your town
We are fed
Phony everything one after another
On social media
And we feed like
Eyes on a highway across the latest bloody wreck
And act as if we are nourished, and smarter
When in fact, we are lazy.
We slow down to watch,
Not to help, just to see.
All too lazy to find that the evil is a lonely weed
Festering in a galaxy of unfathomable beauty
Beyond our imagination and reach,
If all we are
Wake up to be more,
We are the accident God watches
From his Pinto.
