ITEM: On Friday night, at the Civic Media Center - Performance Artist Tom Miller and Gainesville Arts & Music ICON and Legend Bill Perry combine forces to present new paintings for Gainesville's ArtWalk on May 25, 2012. Beginning at 7pm until 10pm, Miller and Perry's artwork will be available for purchase. At 10pm, it's the return of The Bill Perry Orchestra. Performing in Gainesville for 30 years, The Bill Perry Orchestra has been on Hiatus for a decade during which time, Perry traveled through Europe painting paintings and preparing for the big return of the orchestra.
Tom Miller: "He's been working on these incredibly difficult and intricate charts and our group has been struggling to get this material down to Bill Perry's exacting standards. It's taken years and years."

The band rehearses on Sunday afternoons and is available with notice for a professional media photography session. We just need enough time for The Colonel (aka Charles Martin) to put on his Tuxedo, for which otherwise he has found no cause to wear.
